Sand molding or sand casting as a technology has been around for millennia, and is selected as a preferred method to produce shaped parts from grams of weight, to very large parts. The process is very versatile and cost effective, even for low volume runs because of tooling cost. Nearly any part configuration that can be made in another material, can be reduced to a pattern and created in metal as a sand casting.

Our No-Bake facility ensure a smooth surface quality and can handle a wide range of products variations. From a simple small parts to an intricate shape of casting such as impellers and volute casing. You can bring a sample of products or 2D/3D drawing, let us do the rest to bring the final shape to live.

At Cast Metals, the maximum weight of one part casting is limited to 500 kg for steel/iron and 300 kg for Aluminum, due to our induction furnace capacity. We also use gravity casting process for our non ferrous products. In addition to these facilities, a heat treatment furnace is installed. Aging a variety of Aluminum alloys, water quenching stainless steel or manganese steel can be done in-house. Finish machined parts can be done with collaborations with our partners.

Alloys
  • Variety of non-ferrous alloys, e.g. aluminum alloys, bronze and cooper alloys
  • Carbon steel casting
  • White iron, abrasive resistant casting material
  • Heat resistant, stainless steel casting
